The Looking Barn
Established in 2019. With a degree in specialized business and background as a former Venue manager and wedding/special events coordinator with over 13 years of experience in the Wedding Industry, Amanda Lookingbill along with her husband dreamed of opening their own venue some day. They both grew up in Littlestown and remember the property formally known as "Koony's Barn" growing up. Amanda remembers going shopping at Koony's barn with her mom as a little girl and would pass it almost daily heading to and from school. After Amanda left the wedding industry to start a family(three children later) she desired to go back to her passion of weddings after settling for a different career path.
Being sought after by many previous clients, friends, and family we knew we could turn what seemed like a dream into a reality. The thought of bringing a family owned business with so much to offer to our small home town brought instant gratification and pure joy.
We are a privately owned and family operated venue. We host events year round as we are temperature controlled. Some of our amenities include; onsite parking, full indoor restrooms, dressing rooms, and handicap accessibility.

The Small Details
Details of your event are important to us and our priority. We offer an unique experience and take pride in customer service and customization. Every event with coordination is thought through thoroughly and planned as if it were our own. Contact us today for availability, prices, & custom packages. We specialize in weddings & special events such as but not limited to vow renewals, holiday/ business parties, birthday parties, anniversaries, and bar/bat mitzvahs. We have recently added celebration of life services. We hold non wedding events on Fridays and Sundays as well as during the week when available.
Our optional coordination service includes meeting with our couples from the time they book all the way up until the event day! We discuss all details including the layout of the room/tables needed. An event day timeline and order of ceremony. An onsite coordinator with our venue will be here the entire day to help with anything you may need. We do all the reception and décor setup/teardown and cleanup with coordination service.
